About Pops Daughters
Pops Daughters, the community, was born out of a shared desire to turn a fragmented past into a united future. Poppa’ was a rollin’ stone, and because of his struggles with addiction our childhoods were spent in separate homes, leading to years of distance. As adults, we made the conscious decision to know one another and to cultivate a sisterhood that could transcend the gaps of our upbringing.
At first, it wasn’t easy. Reaching out felt awkward, and building trust took time. We struggled to find our rhythm as sisters and to bridge the divide created by years apart. But instead of giving up, we chose to lean in. We began taking inventory of who we were as individuals—our goals, passions, and dreams. Through this process, we uncovered a powerful truth: though we were different, we were stronger together.
Each of us brought something unique to the table. As mothers, we knew the importance of nurturing. As women, we understood resilience. As healers, we believed in restoration. As way-makers and educators, we saw the value of empowerment. With these shared values and strengths, we realized we could create something meaningful—not just for ourselves but for the communities we cared about.
Thus, Pops Daughters was born—a wellness-focused community grounded in village-minded principles. It became our mission to use our collective superpowers to create spaces for healing, growth, and connection, starting with families and children. Together, we transformed our journey from fractured beginnings into a legacy of unity, purpose, and impact.
